Tool Chest Main Glue-up

This was a very tricky glue-up. I had to put glue on over 50 dovetails, and get all four sides locked together before the glue started to set up. Dovetails only go together in one direction, so I knew I would have to get two pin boards into one of the tail boards, and then add the other tail board. My dovetail joints were probably tighter than they should have been, so I had to use a scrap board and deadblow mallet to persuade each panel into place.
I added all the long bar clamps I have, but I really could have used a couple more. And despite adjusting clamps and checking diagonals, I don’t think the box has ended up entirely square. Not sure yet what the full ramifications of that will be. At least it all went together without blowing apart any dovetails.

I cleaned up the dovetailed corners with handplanes.
