Gluing the Nightstands

I decided to glue the legs and stretchers together in stages, rather than all at once.  I let each glue-up sit in the clamps overnight or longer.  Then I glued the remaining stretcher and rails.

Since my amateur craftsmanship precludes a completely square and plumb project, my highest priority was achieving a reasonably square drawer opening, even if it meant taking the legs out of plumb along the outsides.

For the other nightstand, I started with the front rails and rear stretcher as sub-assemblies.  Note the diagonal clamp to help square the drawer opening.
