Deer Pen in Heavener, Oklahoma

The Heavener Lions Club maintains a deer pen for the public, visible from US-59 as it rolls through town.  There were three does and a buck when we stopped by.  The buck came over to investigate us, but the does just sat back and watched.

Fall and winter are mating season for the white-tailed deer, and the bucks can be aggressive.  This guy did push the fence a few times, but otherwise just seemed curious.
