We happened to be in Port Townsend during the annual Wooden Boat Festival.  The first festival was held in 1978, and lead to the creation of the Wooden Boat Foundation.

By the time we made it down to Point Hudson Marina after dinner (at Nifty Fiftys Diner), most of the exhibitors had closed their tents so they were no longer charging admission.  We walked around to check out the boats.
