Hells Canyon Overlook
I retraced my steps and continued along the Scenic Byway, which now began to climb into the mountains. This brought me to the Hells Canyon Overlook, which offered a different perspective.
Wallowa Mountains
The Scenic Byway wanders back down to the valley floor, and soon in the distance I could see the Wallowa Mountains. There was one more deer-photo stop, and then on to the town of Joseph.
