Planting More Bunchberries

Yesterday while back out at Farmington Gardens, I bought a couple more Bunchberry (Cornus canadensis) plants. I liked the two I planted last fall, although they died back completely in the winter, and have not flowered or produced any berries as advertised. Hm, I’m sure I’ve done something wrong, like not enough fertilizer, not enough water, not enough sun, too much sun, too acidic… too complicated! Anyway, other than that, they seem to be doing well.
I put one next to Mr Big, and one next to the Japanese Skimmia.
