Annuals and New Flowerbed

Today I added some African Yellow Marigolds and pink Petunias, as well as another Lupine, a yellow one.
New Small Flowerbed
A couple weeks ago, I dug out an area between the driveway and fence, next to the bamboo, for a new little flowerbed. I planted a couple seed packets of wildflower seeds, but after a couple weeks, nothing has come up (the packets said 1 to 4 weeks for germination). I think the birds and squirrels ate all the seeds, the little rascals.
So today I planted three “Glory of Noordwijk” Dahlias (they will be orange), a couple white Zonal Geraniums, some pink Petunias, and some Gladioli bulbs (this very sunny location will probably be too much for them, but oh well).
